You can also request a one-off technical visit. For a new installation, we assess the space before quoting; there is no single installation price.
When is ducted air conditioning a suitable option?
A central ducted installation distributes air from one indoor unit to several rooms. It can suit a home or premises with space for the equipment and duct routes, particularly when planned during building or renovation. Suspended ceilings, return air paths, grilles, maintenance access and each zone's needs must be reviewed. Capacity and controls are defined after assessment, not from floor area alone.
What is the difference between a split and a multi-split?
A split combines one indoor and one outdoor unit to condition a room. A multi-split connects several indoor units to one outdoor unit and can serve multiple rooms. The choice depends on the layout, usage, outdoor location and connection routes. Benalclima reviews these conditions and proposes a suitable solution without claiming that one option is always cheaper or uses less energy.
Do you install mineral wool and sheet metal ducts?
Yes. Benalclima works with ducts made from insulated mineral wool panels and with sheet metal ducts. The material is chosen according to the route, space, usage and project requirements. Insulation and access panels are also considered for metal ducts. The installation must be assessed before deciding which is suitable.
Does air conditioning replace ventilation?
Not necessarily. Air conditioning adjusts temperature; ventilation replaces indoor air with outdoor air. Benalclima assesses ventilation for homes and commercial premises, coordinating supply and extraction, routes and equipment access. The solution depends on how the space is used and the existing installation, and is determined during the assessment.
How much does a Benalclima technical visit cost?
An air conditioning technical visit costs €75 + VAT (21%): €90.75 including VAT. It includes a visit lasting up to 1 hour in Benalmádena, with 20 km of travel included. It is a one-off service, with no plans. Parts, additional work and additional travel are quoted before proceeding. Repairing a fault within that hour is not guaranteed. How do I request a quote for a home, renovation or commercial premises?
